Rarely in life do we accomplish anything noteworthy without the help of many others. Even when it seems like a solo enterprise when we think back to how we developed the skills to complete the job there were likely many others involved in our tutelage. So it almost always takes a team or community involvement to perform at your best and be successful. It is critical therefore to surround yourself with great people whose skills complement your own. No one can be great in every facet of life but a team can overcome those challenges. If you choose to surround yourself with positive people you will develop a positive mindset and continue to grow. You will look at obstacles as speed bumps rather than roadblocks and view failure as just another step on the path to success. At the same time your teammates need to be honest and let you know when you are headed in a bad direction. If you are the best athlete or the best person on the team you should likely look for a better team. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to grow and become better every day. People will help you just need to ask.
