Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars: A conversation with Astronaut Eileen Collins

In 1999, Eileen Collins became the first woman to command a Space Shuttle mission. Also one of the first female pilots in the United States Air Force, her career has been a series of amazing achievements and firsts. Join us for a conversation with Collins and Jonathan Ward, co-author of her new book Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars: The Story of the First American Woman to Command a Space Mission. The program will be followed by a book signing.

This program will take place in person the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and virtually on YouTube Live.
