Today's #Leadership quote
Gratitude is one of the strongest and most transformative states of being. It shifts your perspective from lack to abundance and allows you to focus on the good in your life, which in turn pulls more goodness into your reality.
Jen Sincero
For most 2020 has been a challenging year. The Covid pandemic and social unrest have impacted everyone and we could very easily adopt a victim mentality and certainly blame outside forces for what we experience. Despite the challenges many have prospered. Generally it is because they looked at the glass as half full rather than half empty. They took ownership and used that which they did control to move forward on a positive note. Gratitude is one one of the skills that successful people rely most heavily on to continue to push forward through adversity. When we practice gratitude we appreciate what we have rather than lament what we do not. We take ownership of our destiny and become proactive rather than reactive. We invite others to help us rand advance our initiatives with us. Our brains don't know the difference between gratitude and success so practicing gratitude daily develops a positive attitude of success. Being thankful for what you have creates the frame of mind to have more. Practicing gratefulness will invite more to be grateful for. Begin today and for the rest of your life and recognize the abundance that follows.
