Virginia Preparedness for Covid-19

Aug 26, 2020  -  News & Updates

By September 25th, all Virginia businesses with 11+ employees must complete a VA COVID-19 Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response Plan (or amend an existing Plan), and train employees on said Plan (or update) to remain compliant with §16VAC25-220, Emergency Temporary Standard: Infectious Disease Prevention: SARS-CoV-2 Virus That Causes COVID-19.

Though our organizations deal specifically with manufacturers and craft breweries, we know COVID-19 has created difficulties for businesses of all types, and the ETS adds an extra layer of complexity. That’s why we created the VA COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard Certification Program. Intended for any Virginia business, our training and informational webinars will ensure that business owners understand the complexities of the ETS, and are properly equipped to create their Infection Disease Preparedness and Response Plan so that it addresses all topics required by the ETS. We have three rotating consultants who tackle these issues, each with decades of experience in regulatory compliance, health, and safety, through live, three-hour webinars that include a Q&A at the end.

I wanted to alert you to our program so you may share with any Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce businesses seeking resources to help them with the ETS. September 25th is only a month away, and our mission is to ensure that all of Virginia is compliant with the Standard. We also offer targeted manager/supervisor and employee courses that take the guesswork out of ETS training.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions about our Certification Program.

Stay safe,

Kaitlyn
